A private laboratory hired by the prosecution in the Duke lacrosse case failed to report that it found DNA from multiple males in the accuser's body and underwear, according to a defense motion filed today. The lab, DNA Security of Burlington, found that the DNA did not match the three defendants, their lacrosse teammates or anyone else who submitted their DNA to police, including the accuser's boyfriend.
The new evidence emerged in thousands of documents handed over to the defense in October.

Well, if that's the case then the only thing that's changed in the area is the color of the person/s being discriminated against. And I wouldn't call that progress.
He mostly listened to the long drawn-out testimony of the DNA expert. As a result I didn't really get a chance to size him up.

Well the ball is in Duke's court. Will recind the suspension of Finnerty and Seligmann now? That is one thing Duke could do to try to mitigate the damage.

Thanks for looking that up. It's possible that because I used to do research, my doctor was telling me about it at the assay level. This conversation was at least 16 years ago, so there's a very good chance that I have forgotten many of the details of it.
