Being the worlds oldest person is scarey - the prognosis isn't good! Those folks are dropping like flies. The government ought to set up a new federal department to save us from this malady.

Some fellow who is in the medical research field recently said on late night radio that there is a bit of a standing joke going on now.

Some folks are taking bets about whether the first person who will live to be over 1000 has been born yet or not.

Trouble is, I don't want to live until I'm a thousand if every morning I wake up and my back feels like it's 217 years old!!

I have a suggestion - before you make a case that moderation on FR is inconsistent, why don’t you first notify the moderators of a post you find objectionable? We ain’t psychic and we can’t patrol every thread.

If I were the second oldest person I’d be pretty nervous right now..........Heck, I’d probably even quit smoking.

Born in 1891. In her late 20s when America entered WWI. Was 50 when Pearl Harbor was bombed. 90 when Reagan took office. Amazing.

Think about it:

She was a teenager when there were no cars, no planes, no TV, no radio, no rolled toilet paper, the electric light bulb was just going into production.

As a teenager she probably meet Civil War Veterans, was a young adult during WWI, a middle aged woman during WWI and a old maid during the Vietnam conflict

Quite amazing

Well, aren’t some people squeamish? Would you have preferred “——”? Or maybe “$#@%!”? Or “BLEEP!”? Or how about, “Oh golly gee whillikers! Diddeldy-darneldy-doo!” I would think that after ONE YEAR a comment would have passed the statute of limitations, but apparently not. Don’t worry. The moderator removed it, so your innocent eyes are protected from the censored cuss.

We have standards here, dumbass.

There is no statute of limitations on braindead F-bombing like that.
