In that case you can have a clear conscience and no blame for what the Dems do.

As for the rest, I disagree with you -- unless you are implying that conservatives stayed home because they didn't like Bush' stand on illegal immigration. Those people can now be happy with the Dem Congress.

" even crossed your mind and you seriously entertained as a possibility is PATHETIC or worse.

Are you implying that the 3 or 4 conservatives that actually stayed home cost us the election and not the millions of swing voters that went Dem because of corruption and Iraq? Sure that makes total sense.
