Arianna Huffington really needs to rethink access to her blog. Lately, the nonsensical ravings of her guests would be much more appropriate at Daily Kos than the Huffington Post.
This abomination by actor Alec Baldwin is a perfect example. On the day America learned it had lost one of the classiest people to ever represent our country at the United Nations, Baldwin chose to disparage her in a way that either questioned her femininity, or insinuated she was a warmonger:
I heard William Bennett on CNN, eulogizing Jean [sic] Kirkpatrick. He referred to her as the GOP's Thatcher and called her "our Iron Lady." What is it about these people that they can never talk of peace? (Even their women have to come across like Vince Lombardi.)
How thoroughly disgraceful. Huffington should either request Baldwin apologize for this detritus, or do it herself.
Yet, that wasnt Baldwins only absurdity (emphasis mine):
There is a way to defeat terrorism while building new and better alliances in the Arab world. It will be an enormously complex and difficult diplomatic puzzle. But the first step might be oddly simple. Get rid of the CIA, which has outlived its usefulness and is an embarrassment to this great country, and rebuild and reform US intelligence capabilities to fight this new type of threat. I think our hopes must begin there.
Imagine that. According to this genius, getting rid of the nations foremost intelligence agency will defeat terrorism. He must also think we could reduce the crime rate by eliminating police officers.
Welcome to enlightened, liberal elite thinking, ladies and gentlemen, brought to you on a daily basis by the editors of the Huffington Post. Arianna must be very proud.
ENOUGH WITH hOLLYWOOD MORONS BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY!!!!!! The lower case "h" in hollywood was not a mistake. Idiot celebrities automatically devalue whatever the event is. They have no more credibility, no more expertise on any given topic than my cat. As a matter of fact, I would esteem more highly by far my cat's take on any issue than these liberal hollywood idiots. I already bo
ycott hollywood, what's left to do, advocate euthanasia for the traitorous morons? (Just kidding, maybe).

This from someone who has been called a drunken, overacting wife beater.
Remind me why we care ,why we listen, let along care what entertainers say about anything. Nevermind serious grown up non-make believe, non-role playing issues. I'm perennially perplexed when the NE East Seaboard chatterati do it. But, admit it about 10% of what is posted here is providing a platform for what showbusiness celebrities advocate.
I hadn't heard that she died until now. Quite a loss. That is one woman I'd have eagerly voted for for president.
she's very cute, but i'm sure she's a BIG LIB!
does anybody have a recording of brian Witman's show where Mark and sean worked Baldwin over?
Thanks Pharmboy.
"Arianna Huffington really needs to rethink access to her blog."
Heh... there's no difference between Huffington Post, Daily Kos, DU, and Saturday Night Live. The same nimrod appeared there last night.
Baldwin is not qualified to carry Kirpatricks lunch. Never mind talking of her after she dies. If she were still alive she would probably kick his bloated ass up and down Manhattan
Tina Fey is not far behind Baldwin in hateful stupidity, and isn't worth looking at anyway.
Either one is acceptable.
Hey Alec, why not say the same thing about the U.N.?
****
Alec Baldwin ......... that human helium balloon ever resistant to the gravity of mature judgment.
Why do you think they twisted the Tom Clancy story to make the bad guys with the nuke rabid 'right winged extremists' instead of Islamic Jihadis?
