Memories, one of my fondest memories of California being stopped dead in six lanes of freeway traffic packed bumper to bumper and some clown in a California Highway Patrol cruiser two cars back running his red light and siren wanting me to pull over from the number 2 lane so he could get where he had to go. You gotta love it!

Shortly after we moved here from Lincoln, NE in 1964, we spied a beat-out old pickem up truck headin east on I-80 pullin an open U-Haul trailer that looked pretty "low rent!"

You could tell they had everything they owned stacked in that trailer with 4x8 foot sheets of plywood stood on end and a rope wrapped around the whole deal.

Spray painted on the back panel like graphitti was the proclamation... "WE'RE GOIN BACK TO NEBRASKA WHERE THE BULL (BLEEP) IS REAL!!!"
