Levin also kept saying something that makes me SO mad when I hear people emphasize it...
That we CAN'T go along with McCain's plan to add troops, because we do NOT have any more troops.
For some reason, call me crazy, but announcing to the world that we are basically troopless....is NOT a good idea.

Democrats New Intelligence Chairman Needs a Crash Course on al Qaeda! Silvestre, as I'm sure most readers know, is the candidate chosen by Nancy Pelosi to bypass Jane Harmon. Ive interviewed a number of his colleagues and top counterterrorism officials over the past several months. Silvestre cant answer some fundamental questions about the powerful forces arrayed against us in the Middle East. It begs the question, of course: How can the Intelligence Committee do effective oversight of U.S. spy agencies when its leaders dont know basics about the battlefield??? http://public.cq.com/public/20061211_homeland.html

The US Army, just the Army mind you not the Marines, has 43 Combat Brigades, we have 12 in Iraq. We have plenty of troops. However, as usual the screaming morons in the US Senate simply ignore ALL facts that do validate their partisan political bigotry.
That a US Senator simply ignores what the Ground Commander in Iraq, Gen Abizaid, said to the US Senate 3 weeks ago when asked if he need more troops is gross incompetence and criminal level negligence on the part of Senator Levin.

(I do not forgive Senator John McCain for helping destroy everything we built since 1980.)
