I remember, sometime after 911, a retired military officer stated "I fear we are not ruthless enough to win this war".
I've always feared he would be right.

The Russian were totally ruthless in Afghanistan. How did that work out for them?
Curious, you do realize the vast bulk of the people currently fighting and dying on OUR side are also Muslims right?
