TO ALL FREEPERS-- NEED HELP: I write op-eds and could use some help. I have read stats that about 80-85 percent of the U.S. military voted for President Bush in the '04 election and that about 15 percent voted for Sen. Kerry. Any idea where I could find backing for this vote statistic? My e-mail is: swampler@jps.net THANKS greatly if anyone can help.

Google this phrase: "military voting patterns." Your theory about the 80-15% breakdown is not supported, by the way.

The a magazine called "Army Times" did that poll and it was about 75% voted for Bush. You can Google it with some effort.
