All Holiday trees at Sea-Tac Airport were removed this morning after several community member complaints. They say the trees don't represent all cultures and religions...The trees will not go up again...the airport policy on decorations will be reviewed after the holidays.
Probably because they are the same nuts.
I saw. Thanks.

Bah Humbug! Seattle Airport!
More discrimination against us Reformed Druids.
Another reason I'm so glad I moved out of King County. However, there's still no guarantee this kind of nuttiness won't soon metastasize down to Pierce County.
Culture theives win again in Washinton state.
What bigots complained?
And, WHY do THEY get to win, all the time??? Heck, it offends ME that the CHRISTMAS trees do not go up. Can I win THIS time????
Art at Sea-Tac Airport
As you make your way through the airport, it may be hard to miss the magnificent artwork mounted, installed and encased throughout the rooms and corridors. It's all here for your enjoyment, so spend as long as you like soaking things up.
Our art collection features some of the finest contemporary work in glass, sculpture, photography, painting and sound. The region's diversity is well-represented through European, all-American, Asian, Northwest Native American and folk-art influences.

Merry Christmas
I just saw that the original Grinch is on tonight - ABC I think.
"They say the trees don't represent all cultures "
Damn straight - thats why they call it Christmas
The only art I've ever noticed at SeaTac are those annoying drinking fountains and that ongoing magician display.
Anything "public" is going to be substandard, anyway.
Merry Christmas to you.
Seattle has become SF North.
Christmas tree? Hannukah bush? Solstice shrub?
Hmmmm.....
Now just which group of power-freaks could feel excluded enough to complain about this arboreal display? Which one are the PC lords most likely to roll over for?

I'm continually offended by the creeping paganism that is taking over this country. Yet, I don't walk around forcing the rest of society to conform to my beliefs. Do I encourage others to become Christian? Certainly! Do I expect everyone else to be Christian? Most certainly not (but it wouldn't be a bad thing).
It's simply not possible to create a world where no one is ever offended. Civility and respect for different viewpoints are worthy traits to have, but it doesn't mean sacrificing everything the majority believes in order to cater to vocal minorities. Seriously, here's how this situation should have been handled: "Don't like Christmas trees? Thank you very much for your concern. We appreciate your feedback. Goodbye." Then, you leave the trees up. Every time someone surrenders to the multi-culti diversity crowd it only encourages them to complain more.
How does this go?
I DEMAND to be treated *exactly* like everyone else
until
I DEMAND to be treated differently becasue I am a (fill in the blank of the latest oppresed whatever)
We're not celebrating ALL RELIGIONS. We're celebrating the birth of Christ.
Why is it so offensive .. could it be because CHRIST is the truth the way and the life and the other religions are terrified of HIM ..??
