YOu can fly up to 3 weeks prior to due date. Used to be 6 weeks.

Making sure her child would be a US citizen.

Exactly, she was on a plane to Chicago to have an anchor baby at taxpayer expense. She didn't quite make it.
It is insane we, as a country, put up with this.
