Anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan on Trial (John Kerry's Sister Peggy Involved in Trial)

NEW YORK: An employee of the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, the sister of former U.S. presidential candidate John Kerry, testified Thursday that she canceled a meeting with a women's group last March when she saw prominent anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan and several reporters among them.

Sheehan and three other women face charges of disorderly conduct, obstructing government administration, trespass and resisting arrest after sitting in front of the U.S. mission and ignoring orders to leave. They each face up to a year in prison if convicted.

aside from that.....was kerrys UN employed sis instrumental in arranging those meetings with european and other foreign contacts kerry bragged about and invoked, but never defined during the election?

Peggy Kerry leaves her office at the U.N. and heads back to Greenwich Village, back to her modest apartment on Barrow St., to feed her 5-year-old daughter.

The article was written two years ago, so adjusting the dates slightly, this means that Kerry sister was between 60 and 62 years old when she adopted this girl, who is from China.

I am not sure if this is her first or only child, but being a 'mom' at age 60 to a 5 year old seems a bit odd to me. Of course though she probably has a gaggle of nannies to do the real mothering.
