I don't believe this.
I don't believe this.
No wonder there is so much crime, we are expected to reward those that break our laws.
Illegal immigration is draining hundreds of millions of dollars from local governments but.....
----
Wrong -- for example, California has a net cost to the state taxpayers of $10 BILLION per year for the support of illegal aliens, which includes, but not limited to, welfare, medical, educational impact and law-enforcement and incarceration costs. To say nothing of the Border Patrol enforcement costs. The latest estimates for the entire country, state and federal is in excess of $100 BILLION PER YEAR and increasing as the illegal flow across our border, combined with heavy propogation of illegals on American soil.
"The give-and-take of illegal immigration"
Translation: We give and they take.
Such a glowing report, why would anyone object to the presence of the illegal aliens?
Because the Dallas Morning News may be fudging the numbers just a tad. There is an agenda to be supported, after all.
Okay, Dallas Morning News...
What about the costs involved in breaking the law? What about the costs to the U.S. citizens who are put out of work because a pathetically cheap, treacherous and turncoat company hires illegals over legal residents? I could go on and on regarding the incredible drain on our society. But I won't. The Dallas Morning News just needs to get their premise right.
And that is: It is WRONG to break the law! We make laws to remain a civil society and when they are willfully broken, civility begins collapsing. Oh my gosh! Isn't that what is happening to people right here in these United States?
So, to the friendly Dallas Morning News:
Remain in your state of denial regarding the societal drain that illegals perform, and befor long, Texas will be an add-on to Mexico.
Adios...
The net profit of $420 million dollars should help law enforcement enforce the laws that illegal immigrants are breaking.
Lawbreaking has always been lucrative to the lawless but costly to society. If government is supportive of lawbreakers solely for the money, government has to be replaced for it too is lawless and corrupted, and is no longer credible as representing the law- abiding citizens of America.

Cost of Illegals to California $10.5 Billion
To quote 'Trailerpark Badass' on that thread:
Maybe Texas should import some of California's illegals, or consult and teach CA how to make money off illegals for fun and profit!
