If Santorum runs, I will immediately volunteer to help his campaign and do everything in my power to help him get elected.

Me too.

I would be happy to support Santorum for any office he chooses to run for. An honest man, a decent man, a family man, a true conservative. Not your usual senator by a long shot.

I think the defeat of Santorum was a temper tantrum to show disgust with Bush and his Iraq incompetence. I think Santorum still has standing in Pennsylvania. He could run for governor when Rendell is done or for senator again when Specter finally quits. Western PA will get some sense and realize they have no representation now, the whole state is being run by easterners. There is a lot regional pride that will come back into play.

Isn't there some way this forum can organize a campaign to get Santorum as UN representative? It would be an excellent stage for him and he has been involved in international issues like efforts to help with AIDS in Africa. This guy still has some options. Let's find ways to get the White House to listen.

Who's ever heard of a state rejecting its favorite son in a presidential race?
