The Free Republic has been nominated for the Best Online Community in the 2006 Weblog Awards.
You can vote once daily for the Free Republic for the next 10 days. At the end of the 10 days the site with the most votes wins!
FR is currently in the lead.
But for some strange reason we are not in the Middle East category this year, although we came in second place last year.
This year we are in the Top 251-500 blogs category. We never intended to be a popular blog, but a special interest one, but here we are anyway.
There are some great blogs to vote for.
Check out the other great blogs here and start voting. Be sure to ping your friends.

Interesting to look at the nominees for Best Conservative versus Best Liberal Blog. The titles of some of theirs speak volumes about liberalism and its followers.

Something looks strange here alright.
The folks at weblog awards will deduct any votes that originate from the same computer, so if this is fraudulent they will catch it.
