Lou Dobbs reported tonight that Duncan Hunter challenged NM Governor Bill Richardson to a debate on the border fence and Lou has agreed to commit half of his program for it!
Richardson will have to accept. Go Duncan!!
So will Richardson be arguing based on his pre-election stance or his post-election stance?
I don't know much about Hunter but it's a wise move in my opinion.
Hunter seems like a very serious man, very refreshing these days.
There's nothing to debate... there isn't going to be a fence.
I hope the lure of 30 mintues of national TV will cause King Bill to accept the challenege. Richardson didn't even debate his opponent in the Governor's race this year.
Duncan Hunter will put Richardson away.
Hunter has the facts and first hand knowledge
as one of the reps for San Diego.
Excellent move on Hunter's part to get exposure.
I could definitely sleep at night with him as President.
Thread on Hunter...good info and voting great voting record on border security, illegal immigration, pro-life, and has a son on second tour in Iraq. I've yet to find much wrong with him...but give the OBL tools about a second and a half...I'm sure they'll come up with something ;)

Even if Richardson declines, some other open-border ninny will accept to their self-absorbed puss on National TV.

Duncan should mop the floor with him... I hope some how he gets enough recogniztion, that he could get the nomination... Mr. Hunter is a great genuine person...

Actually Lou was pretty hard on Richardson tonite.
Richardson came out against any fence on the border, Lou just about couldn't take it.

Last time I checked, Lou Dobbs and Duncan Hunter had the same position on border security. Why would Lou pimp to anyone who's position was different?
Lou Dobbs is a key, not to mention one of the few, border security media ally. I don't watch him but it seems he continues to hit the anti-illegal immigration target quite a lot. His new thing is the "war on the middle class."
