The invasion of Iraq was a success. The policing and rebuilding of Iraq has been less then successful, so far. The ISG-Baker/Hamilton seems to be saying, we should get out before the job is done. At this point, that would be the wrong decision to make. I only wish Bush could express himself to American people better at this critical stage. On election day the American voters said its time for a change in Iraq. At this point, the President has offered nothing new for the American people to see as advancing a final victory. Staying the course is not the answer. Enough political correctness, its time to do whatever it takes to win in Iraq.
God Bless our Fighting Troops...they are brave and I am truly thankful for their service...because of them, I am able to live out my dreams and raise my family. Our Senators on the other hand are a true disgrace, bent on power, greed, status and their OWN PERSONAL successes.
The military delivered a spectacular and historic victory, it is the politicians that have brought us defeat.
The ISG is the death knell of the war. It's now about "peace with honor"
Keep deluding yourselves. I was a huge supporter of the WOT and the Iraq War. But now it's about a withdrawl. The ISG guarantees it. Either Bush does it, or the Dems will when they have all three houses...
Meanwhile good American boys die while this plays out. Not worth one more life or limb. Face reality guys.
No. You should wish....... that the presstitutes were not Bush-haters. President Bush speaks just fine to Americans when he has the opportunity to speak to them directly - some of us understand exactly where he is coming from. Others don't want to know or understand.
Enough political correctness, its time to do whatever it takes to win in Iraq.
I am ready for that myself.
