Both have "articulated" til they are blue in the face, the problem is, the microphones are either turned off or scramble the message by the time people get to hear it on a broad scale.

Roosevelt had his fireside chats. Bush needs to go directly to the people and not through the MSM filter. Bush could use several addresses to the nation to educate the public and not just reiterate canned sound bites. Let General Casey brief the nation on what the military are doing in Iraq, including fixing the infrastucture. The USAID Director could do something similar. Have our Amb discuss the diplomatic efforts. Let an Iraqi government spokesman discuss the struggle from their perspective. We are losing the PR battle to the MSM/Dems and the enemy.

I agree...please excuse the capitals, but I am hoping someone close to the President will hear this!

THE PRESIDENT NEEDS TO BYPASS THE MEDIA AND SPEAK DIRECTLY TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC. WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON IN IRAQ.

SHOW US TROOPS, LET THEM SPEAK, GO TO IRAQ'S LET THEM TELL US THEY WANT FREEDOM...WHAT DOES FREEDOM MEAN TO THEM?

HOW CAN YOU WIN IF WE ARE NOT SURE WHAT WIN MEANS?

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF WINNING THIS WAR?
