Bush Says Victory in Iraq is Important

I have to tell you MM, for the last week or so, I turned off the talkers and the news and have been exclusively playing Christmas Music.
I feel SO much better.
Einsteinette, that was my point, and you proved it for me. You stepped right in that one trying to be all haughty.
We're fighting a WOT, can't fight a successful WOT if our borders are wide open. Thanks again.
So have I. I just happened to turn it on this evening and suddenly, I remembered why I have been watching so much of The Food Netwrok!
I won't interfere with your delusions of grandeur. It could be dangerous.......
Exactly! Although, if I watch too much Food Network I'm going to have to start exercising more. ;-)
It's a protected thread where everyone there respects the troops and their Commander in Chief.
And it may be the only place on this forum where you can go and not get a knife in the back by someone calling himself a 'conservative.'
I invite you to join us there where you will be respected and honored as you deserve.
btw, the sexism was a nice touch. Do you guys belong to an all boys club?
Rachel Ray has good cookie recipes.
I mean the kind of club where you all think girls have cooties.......
hahahaha
Do you belong to an all boys club??????
Actually, I think that it was Sidney Blumenthal, that mentioned the redistribution of power, in an attempt to explain Bill's political agenda. We all know who Syd really spoke for, and he never really attempted to speak for Bill again. I got the impression that Bill was none too happy with Blumenthal laying out, in black and white, Bill's view of the New World Order. It even vanished from the internet.
We agree on something. Arguing with you about anything, including the time of day, is a waste of time.
Both our sons were more mature by the age of 14 than the malcontents here on FR, that's why you boys always take me by surprise.....
hehehehehe, ignorance is bliss. hehehehe
if he is communicating his message effectively, then why do so many people fell so strongly about the need for a change of course in iraq?
1. He hasn't communicated effectively for one. It's sad that he's been stuck on one jingle "stay the course" even though I'm sure adjustments have been made and would continue to be made but the message is the same old thing.
I agree the this administration comes off simplistic. I wish we had Blair as a spokesperson.
2. People feel strongly because the administration hasn't made a good enough case and the left and media have created another Viet Nam scenario constantly negative, constantly badgering and constantly anti Bush, no matter what.
I agree that change has to come but does that mean throwing the baby out with the bath water?
Your post: bttt.
WHY ARENT WE SEEING THE IRAQ PUBLIC PLEADING FOR HELP OR SAYING THIS IS WHAT WE WANT...FREEDOM!
ARE WE HELPING PEOPLE THAT DO NOT WANT HELP?
PRESIDENT NEEDS TO ADDRESS THE IRAQ POPULATION.
HE NEEDS TO ASK THEM TO SUPPORT THIER TROOPS AND STAND STRONG. WE NEED TO SEE THE IRAQ'S COME TO THIER OWN DEFENSE.
