Here's to "as long as it takes."

As long as it takes to do what? Further bolster the power of Maliki's pro-Iranain Shi'ite fundamentalist government and its scary allies such as the murdering/thuggish Badr brigade?

I agree that the Pentagon report will be more significant in terms of policy. I am less worried about Bush than I am about Congress, especially as we head into 2008.

Both have "articulated" til they are blue in the face, the problem is, the microphones are either turned off or scramble the message by the time people get to hear it on a broad scale.

Roosevelt had his fireside chats. Bush needs to go directly to the people and not through the MSM filter. Bush could use several addresses to the nation to educate the public and not just reiterate canned sound bites. Let General Casey brief the nation on what the military are doing in Iraq, including fixing the infrastucture. The USAID Director could do something similar. Have our Amb discuss the diplomatic efforts. Let an Iraqi government spokesman discuss the struggle from their perspective. We are losing the PR battle to the MSM/Dems and the enemy.

Well, when the swimmer made overtures to the soviets to undermine Reagan while he was winning the cold war, that was treason.

When the media released classified documents which revealed critical programs for identifying and stopping terror plots before they unfolded, that was treason.

When the media and the left in this country worked 24/7 to give aid and comfort to the enemy while undermining the CIC during time of war. That was treason.

Or else, Tokyo Rose was just a "free speech activist".

I just can't be as pessimistic as you, no matter how hard I try if I tried.

You and your ilk would be sorely disappointed if you knew just how many of us there are that firmly stand shoulder to shoulder with 'ohioWfan' with exactly the same thoughts, feelings and goals as our objective. Perhaps if you read a few more of the posts instead of ignoring them you would become more informed.

Just because "rbmillerjr" says he was in the 82nd doesn't mean his opinion is the right one. For all you know he might have been the permanent spud peeler in the kitchen.

Slightly off topic, but that jerk John Kasich is on Fox now supporting the ISG report.

Again, I want someone to tell me why he suddenly got out of DC, when he was the head of the Budget Committee.

Let's see.........you whine about my hitting abuse for your silly post, and I'm the "drama queen." That's cute. Really stupid......but cute.

And about that keeping up part.........you apparently are unaware that the war in Iraq is a part of the greater war on terror.

Talk about not being informed........sheesh! Where do we start?

Still, I'm trying to figure out how you think this war of good vs. evil is only regional.

You're not making a whole lot of sense here.....if ya know what I mean.....

I didn't say you LOOK like her.

Your BDS makes you THINK like her.

And to tell the truth, it would be preferable to have her looks than to share her feelings about the President.

You come out with the short stick on that one, pup.

I know how you 'feeeeel' pup. That's why we'll never see eye to eye.

In your first sentence you called President Bush a liar. That's where I stopped reading......

I missed him, I had to go outside and 'cool off' after I clicked on that link 'meandog' posted. I'll give him/her credit for one thing and one thing alone....he/she certainly chose the right screen name.

I don't have the answer to your question but now my curiosity has got the better of me.....I'll have to look his history up.

meandog is no longer amusing, having clicked on that link. He is on the same side as evil, AmeriBrit.

Maybe if you had a CLUE about what this President is doing, you wouldn't be such a fool, meandog.

AmeriBrit knows more of the President's love of the troops and deep pain for their loss in battle than you will ever know.

You are a moral simpleton and a heartless jerk, and there is no reason for any military family member to think anything other than what AmeriBrit has called you.

You disgrace this forum with your presence. I can't silence you, but you have diminished any shred of decency that anyone thought you had left.

And if you are what I think you are, you don't even have a conscience enough to feel shame.

I apologize to you, AmeriBrit for this despicable little man. May God forgive me for what I am thinking right now. My feelings for these people is the same as it is for the vilest leftist. They are one and the same, IMO.

meandog is proud of being mean, AmeriBrit. He thinks his abject hatred for the Commander in Chief excuses the vilest behavior.

He is proud of sticking a knife into the families of our troops........especially those who have given their all....... and twisting it with glee.

I hope you have cooled down, because I have not, and my sacrifice is nothing compared to yours.

I think you have a valid point there, I believe it was Bubba Clinton that first brought that up.

Somehow I think any answer I might give you would be a waste of my time. However your position is clear, so I'll just leave it at that.
