The passage that keeps slamming me in the head these past couple of days is "Ye have not because ye ask not".

The Father knows what we want and need whether we know what to say or not.

Romans 8:26--And in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

Prayers for your father and your brother to be healed and be well again.

Oh .. I'm so sorry I didn't know about this prayer request earlier for you and yours, BG. Be confident, Heaven's Gate is being flooded for your dear brother and Pappa. May His angels be near them and their docs ... will you be with either one? Hugs and prayers up for them and you stand in faith. Lord, please be with BG's dear ones, and bless them with Your healing.

My oldest brother is having a valve in his heart replaced tomorrow.

And the very next day.....my Dad's having a pacemaker put in.

My dad's the one who had a massive heart attack and open heart surgery 18 years ago.

Oh Lord, please watch over this family, abide in their hearts, comfort and strengthen them, heal their bodies, and renew their spirits. Amen.

My Mom had a pacemaker put in when she was 91 and did very well, her age did not seem to make it harder.

Unto You, O Lord, we return with praise and thanksgiving, for You have granted unto BG's beloved Dad more years than earthly physicians had anticipated ... we praise You for Your goodness and mercy. May it be, Heavenly Father, that You will again grant unto him successful pacemaker surgery, and that he will again astound his doctors with vibrant and robust health. Direct every aspect of this procedure and grant the greatest wisdom to his medical team, that they might be delighted to be used of You as instruments of Your healing.

And may it be, O Great Physician, that wisdom and healing will overshadow BG's brother ... may his valve replacement be swift and sure, without incident. Strengthen him physically throughout the procedure, again using his medical team to accomplish Your purposes of divine healing. Surround father and son with the Comfort of Your Presence, that they would have no fear or anxiety, for You are with them always, even unto the end of the age. Bring to their memories the Promises of Your Word, that You will supply their every need according to Your riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.
