Could this be the start of Fox Polska?
From Poland A.M.
Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, which purchased a 25% stake in TV Puls six months ago, plans to expand its activities in Poland.
"News Corp follows a conservative line of doing business in the USA which does not bring double-digit profits. Therefore, we decided to invest abroad in companies with large growth potential," stated the president of News Corp Europe, Marty Pompadour. The concern is considering investments in TV production, as well as the possible purchase of a radio station or internet company. "For the time being we are concentrating on the development of TV Puls and making it a commercial success. But we will continue to take advantage of the possibilities which arise on the dynamically changing Polish market," declared Pompadour. The president of TV Puls' supervisory board, Dariusz Dabski, revealed that TV Puls may receive virtually unlimited financial support from the investor, which wants to increase its share in TV Puls, particularly if the provisions of its license are changed by the National Radio and Television Council (KRRiT).
