I am so ticked off I can't think. I really hate these SMUG smiles on these people.
If this is such a serious problem, WHY ARE THEY SMILING?

William J. Perry, former US Secretary of Defense
He's a RINO from the Chafee-Collins wing of the party.
Speaking of that douchebag Chafee, I'm glad he's been sent home to Rhode Island to do whatever it was that he did before he got he inherited diddy's Senate seat.

the question was about why was O'Connor on the panel
I was giving my opinion
read what she has written about international law and you'll understand what I meant

I'd love to ask Jim Baker a question:
Mr. Baker, don't you feel you've betrayed the president by not haveing one single person on this commission who supports his dream for democracy in Iraq, and not one person with military experience, or who has been active in the Iraq war?

Now I'm despondent.I've been stuck in meetings all morning and have no idea what's been said. I was going to try to catch up here but now I'm thinking I shouldn't.

I cannot wait for Mark to get a hold on this one! I think I will have to stock the lounge tonight. I think there will be heavy drinking going on!

If I do decide to go, I'll be heartbroken. But no more heartbroken than I am right now, and no more heartbroken than I was on 11/7... the day the war was lost.
I love my country, but I refuse to stay and die with it. And I'm seeing no evidence that it can survive. None whatsoever.
Best wishes on your retirement and your new home.

Fox is going to have Bill Kristol comment.
Kristol says that the word "victory" doesn't appear, and the report isn't serious.

I told you long ago these people are from the 60's and tried to destroy this country then and are back to finish her off. And the rest will make sure the proper well-connect parties make a decent chunk of money from our demise. And they will then retreat to their gated communities, leaving the unwashed rabble to fend for themselves. Consequences are for the little people to bear.
Meanwhile, on Fox News last night (I think it was on Shep's show), they said the most Googled item this year was Britney Spears (even before her latest wardrobe omission), followed by Steve Irwin. The Iraq War was a distant third.
As was noted years ago in the book Amusing Ourselves to Death, we will cheer on the end of the republic as long as it is sold to us as entertainment. This is the latest episode of that sorry saga.

Sounds like Bill Kristol saw this the same way we all just saw it.
To: Dolphy
It was kind of like a foreign policy coup, with Sandra Day O"Conner telling the press to get the country behind their report!
Hold on............Bill Kristol is saying there's nothing IN the report..............LOL.

Thanks. I know what O'Connor has said about international law. I just missed it between watching and reading.
