My husband tells her: you carry your end, and I'll carry mine, and she grabs the leash about a foot from where it's fastened to her harness. It's so darned cute!

You have a bully? need pics!!! huge bully fans here. We have an Olde English, she is the love of our lives.I wasn't invited to this party, but here's Jack:
Jack and I were buddies... Unfortunately his "mommy" and I broke up, so I don't get to see him anymore. :-( I should sue for visitation... Jack's 65 pounds of personality (and bone, muscle, and skin).

"midnight black shepard with brown paws"
This is what they call a "bi-color" GS. Would be rather unusual, I think, for a Czech-line dog to be anything other than sable.
Wish I could give more advice on Czechs or any Euros generally, but I'd suggest you do a Google search on dog sites relating to European German Shepherds (and please, spelling it right will get you more hits!). I once went to a great pedigree site with a decent forum, which would've been fantastic for contacts and info, but they have shut down.

Actually, you might want to surf around here...(Siriusdogs.com)

I used this site several years ago, but it has changed in set-up. Maybe you can figure it out. Look through the ads and maybe you can run upon a contact who deals alot with Czech-line dogs.

Labs are always happy when carrying something. Or eating something, their dog house, the garage, an ivory chess set, an Old Smokie BBQ Pit, the air conditioning wiring ... ;-0

My first dog, a cocker spaniel peekinese mix used to carry his own leash. Got quite a few laughs as we walked. R.I.P. Buster
