"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." -Manuel II Paleologus
...but...but...I thought Osama Obama was a shoo-in! Now it's Hillary?
Of course she could win. Anyone who underestimates Hillary does so at the country's peril.
The way to assure that she doesn't win is to rally behind a strong candidate and vote.
After this last election I think most
Americans are stupid. They'll vote for Hillary
just to feel good about themselves but
blame Bush when the country sinks into a socialist disaster.
At this point Obama could win easily.
Uhg.
The Toe is 100% correct on this. Hitlery is dumber than a box of brainless rocks. During a national campaign, she will not be able to hide that fact. Also her chalk-on-the-chalkboard voice will be heard nationally.
Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton? Is this all we have to be president?
Despite the intensity with which white men tend to oppose despise Hillary...
They can easily elect Hillary "'cause it's our turn".
The question is, can we start impeachment proceedings on her before she is sworn in as President?
I am convinced that morris actually loves the beast... fantasizes about her... wants her. He is far too fixated on her. She is a dangerous force, but one with so many attached strings that the dumbest of Republicans could bring her down easily in the General Election. She will be defeated in the dim primaries, however. Most dims hate her as much as I do... and that is a HUGE amount!!!

The democrats pulled out all the stops to defeat George Allen and Rick Santorum (thereby, destroying any of the Presidential ambitions). Rudy could have done the same thing to Hillary, but he chose not to (maybe because he felt that even HE could not beat her there).
If Rudy would have 'dethroned' her in NY--he could have kept the senate in Rebpublican hands--while greatly furthering his own presidential ambitions with many in the party who will not support him (like me).
Rudy had his big chance to do the country, the state of NY, his party and himself a great service,,,,and sadly chose not to. Oh well.
He just said it again on Fox and Friends. This guy is back to being wrong again. He is saying she can bring new voters into the electorate. THAT I agree with. She will. Dead Republicans will vote. She will redefine the meaning of the word "Polarization". When people talk about "polarization" her name will be part of the conversation for the next 100 years. If she picks al obama, it will kill the rat once and for all.
For people who think Hillary can't be elected, look at Michigan.
Michigan has the highest unemployment rate in the country, business-killing taxes, people are leaving by the tens of thousands, and Gov. Granholm was re-elected.
Although Granholm is an avowed communist who couldn't run a kid's lemonade stand, the idiots in this state elected her because she would be the first female governor of this state. Why they re-elected her is beyond my understanding. (See the last paragraph for a possible reason.)
Granholm and her castrated poodle legislation are literally destroying the economy here. They don't have a clue how to manage a state's economy in order to make it business friendly.
So Michigan provides two lessons for America -
1) Never elect a female to office just because she would be the first woman governor, first woman president, etc. Competence and merit does count when electing a person to office.
2) Never, ever underestimate the stupidity of the average voter.
I just don't see how those ego-driven men in Washington are going to let a WOMAN beat them out and become POTUS....
I feel that MAYBE if a WOMAN was VP first and then ran for POTUS, they MIGHT lower their egos enough, but to right out campaign for the WH, I will bet my money on the MEN....
AND I don't think there are men voting in America that would support this slimy critter....when I said a WOMAN, thats what I meant, not hillary.....
It seems almost reflexive to dismiss her. She is so repulsive in so many ways.
I didn't originally believe she would win in NY in 2000.
If you are going to jump in to argue that NY is Liberal, upstate and Long Island are much more mainstream (Moderate Republican) and she still won.
The Republican candidate for 2008 must be a heavyweight.
