ABC's Kate Snow is apparently no fan of Larry David's HBO original series. On this morning's GMA Snow showed herself utterly incapable of curbing her enthusiasm at the prospect of a presidential run by Hillary Rodham. In to discuss an indication that Hillary might soon be announcing her candidacy, Snow, literally wriggling with excitement, told Robin Roberts:
"Its the latest sign that maybe, just maybe, we might have a woman trying to run for president of this country.
Snow claimed that by the end of the week Hillary would be calling on all top New York Dems "not to tell them that she's running, but to get their advice and support, if she goes for it." Right. Shy, retiring Hillary, not telling her Dem minions anything. Just asking advice. Say, why not call it a "listening tour"?
Snow, concerned Hillary might be procrastinating, offered up some unsolicited campaign advice:
"Sen. Clinton hasn't even been to Iowa or New Hampshire. The consensus among smart political thinkers is that she can take a little time now, through the holidays. But Robin, she better start getting organized soon."
Don't worry, Kate - she will.
Later, Snow reported that the campaign had brought in a high-level Democrat to serve as devil's advocate, making the case as to why Hillary shouldn't run. Observed Diane Sawyer with mordant humor:
"I don't think I'd want to be that person who came in make that case. I wouldn't volunteer for that job."
Ouch!

I think that she'll self-destruct in the spotlight of a presidential run, ala Howard Dean. There enough media out there that's NOT in favor of her, so that some scandals will come out and NEED to be addressed. It'll be something that everyone understands...Maybe Cattle Futures. Enough people understand the market so a story like that would have legs. It's hard to paint yourself as a common person while taking six-figure kickbacks.
That is, if she even runs. I think that Dem party leadership won't let her. You want to energize the Republican base? Run Hillary. I Dislike John McCain intensely, but would vote for him if Clinton ran. Hell, I'd vote for an AlGore/Kerry ticket over Hillary Clinton.
The Clinton stories have started to appear now because Obama was getting too much favorable press.

Sorry for the "potty humor" in advance.
The thought of Hillary being President of this country gives me the runs.
"organized"? ---- The Beast has all the ashtrays and lamps organized by size, neatly lined up to throw at Bill if he screws (up). Bill should thank God that she's not Sicilian.
;-)
"you can't make a silk purse of a sow's ear" (or a horse's *ss)
As my local talkshow host likes to say about things such as these, after talking about Hillary .........."they had to scrape Kate Snow off her chair with a spatula."
Oooh.
LOL! My first thought too!
BTW, who the hell is Kate Snow? Should I have heard of her? :-)
But the limousine liberals will still pay top dollar for the purse, even if it was made out of a half used colostomy bag.
ouch!
Loved Diane's line..LOL.
Me too. An absolute killer. Line of the day!
Liddy Dole ran for President, guess the reportette forgot that.

You have a keen sense of obvious, Captain Obvious.
Indeed. I'm certain she is afraid of what she will find there.
I darn near had a heart attack when I saw the name Snow.I thought Tony had sold us out.
I thought it was Olympia !
