The U.S. and Japan together finance more than 45 percent of the U.N.'s annual operating budget. Why is this so? Does the US and Japan represent 45% of the world GDP? If not then we're overpaying.

I suppose he feels he earns it for basically leaving the UN forces
in Rwanda without tangible support...and letting the genocide happen.
