A white supremacist website has promoted the march. Members of Sydney's Muslim community began raising their concerns last week, with hundreds joining an internet discussion to find a "peaceful avenue" to protect their mosque. Many Muslim women suggested joining the march in their hijabs and burqas to voice their outrage at comments made by Senator Bronwyn Bishop and Prime Minister John Howard about the way they dress. "We're really asking people not to bother coming to the mosque," Mr Zreika said. misguided authors....

How is that misguided? You are obviously into illegal immigration (judging from your username). Many (very probably most) people against illegal immigration are not against it for particularly racist reasons. However, you ought to acknowledge that racists (of the European-descended variety) would also be against illegal immigration, along with sane people. Sometimes people who support bad causes can agree with good ideas.

A little bit of googling shows the website as "Patriot Alliance Downunder".
Realistically, if the "mainstream" groups do not speak out against what the Muslim immigrants are doing, other groups will fill the vacuum. If the white citizens of Australia get sufficiently alarmed, then they will support WHOEVER comes forward with a plan to deal with the issues, by any means necessary
