After September 11th, a Sikh was murdered because some people thought he was a Muslim. How's that for ignorance? And the number of crimes based on people group (race) increased. Even if that Sikh was a Muslim, he shouldn't have been murdered. Yes, a few such cases are not the same as almost 3,000 people dying on September 11th, but (yes, there's a but) two bad things don't make a good thing, and recall that September 11th was done by visa-holders, neither immigrants, nor citizens.

And immediately after September 11, a bus was hijacked by a Muslim and if I remember right, he sliced the throat of the driver, and that was in Kansas, right?

YUP, somewhere in middle America.

How's that for intolerance?

A Sikh was murdered in Great Britain a while back too. I don't think a radio show set up is a reflection of the way Americans feel. There is no excuse for murder. I DO think we are very afraid of these people and that fear is totally justified. People talk tough because it helps them vent frustration. Remember we have Muslim groups out using our laws and trying to force their ways on our people. Resentment is only normal and it is hard for people to pretend they don't feel it. It would be nice if many Muslims in America would come out and act like Americans to show solidarity with America instead of silence which leads us to believe they are in it with the Islamonuts.
