Theresa Marie Schindler was born to Robert and Mary Schindler on December 3, 1963. She was the first of three children the Schindlers would have.
Terri was a shy, but comical, child who had an affinity for music, animals and the arts. She kept a small circle of friends and was dear to schoolmates, neighboring families and her own extended family.
Following high school, Terri came into her own. She developed a knack for sketching and doodling. She enjoyed outings with her friends. She was an adoptive mother to the familys dog, Bucky.
Terri attended Catholic School while growing up and remained close to her faith throughout her life.
In 1983, Terri met Michael Schiavo at Bucks County Community College and the two began dating. He was the first romantic interest Terri had.
The couple was engaged within a few months and married a year later at Terris church in Southampton, Pa. She was 21.
In 1986, Terri and Michael relocated to Pinellas County, Florida and her parents followed three months later.
In 1990, at the age of 26, Terri suffered a mysterious cardio-respiratory arrest for which no cause has ever been determined. She was diagnosed with hypoxic encephalopathy neurological injury caused by lack of oxygen to the brain. Terri was placed on a ventilator, but was soon able to breathe on her own and maintain vital function. She remained in a severely compromised neurological state and was provided a PEG tube to ensure the safe delivery of nourishment and hydration.
On March 31, 2005, Terri Schindler Schiavo died of marked dehydration following more than 13 days without nutrition or hydration under the order of Circuit Court Judge, George W. Greer of the Pinellas-Pascos Sixth Judicial Court. Terri was 41.
Investigations END but that doesn't mean they were arbitrarily stopped.
You can start with the insurance company. Then the State of Florida.
Jodi Centonze was/is an insurance underwriter. She could have written all kinds of policies. The insurance company is still down the street from the hospice.
When the fellow gets a position in the Crist cabinet, I'll let you know. You know, the one who arbitrarily stopped the investigation.
I saw those videos taken long before the worst. They showed some reflexive actions. But there have been too many distortions, too much misinformation and too many outright falsehoods for me to give them any credibility.
I did. I am not ashamed of that. Look, no one is perfect. Not Terri, or those welfare recipients. It never does anyone any harm to opt for the life of someone. Its not fanaticism. It is a love for life and the belief that we, as humans, being imperfect, should not have disdain for anothers life that we just decide its okay to put them to death, especially the innocent. Terri caused no harm to anyone, she was imperfect, as a lot of us are. She was alive for a purpose we don't understand. Otherwise, she would have died for her injuries. I don't hate or dislike you, Please understand that. However to prove a point , I do not believe that the parents who only love their child should be pilloried for wanting to keep her with them. I am sorry if you have had to let go of a loved one. I have too. I have a disabled leg, as you can see, someday I could be deemed not worthy to live. It never hurts to opt for life. We, as people can never predict our future or the wonders that can happen with loving another.
Well, they missed her fractured bones, didn't they?
Nor would bloodwork distinguish between the lack of oxygenation resulting from a heart stoppage versa a pillow over the face.
The only problem was she always had a healthy heart before and never had any problem after. Even the M.E. commented how strong her heart was. She was never treated for any heart condition all those years.
Oh, please, don't tell me you support the Fugitive Slave Law? Professor Gary Amos, a law school teacher, argues that the Schiavo case undid whatever was left of the 14th Amendment and took us back to Dred Scott. His point is essentially that there is no possible due process in American law that authorizes the judicial execution of an innocent citizen. He added a comment that every concurring judge, including all nine members of SCOTUS, should be impeached for making themselves parties to a murder. We've posted links to it a number of times. You should read it.
Here is one link.
The police gave the case all the attention it merited. There was no evidence of anything done to her.
Insurance companies investigate such cases throughly and are not inclined to settle with murderers. Of course, they know how insane juries are (they believe its FREE money) so settling is not unusual but that occurs only after investigation. If they had even a HINT that MS was the reason she was in the hospital they would not have settled.
"...neither side actually did know what caused Terri's injuries." That is what I have been saying and you have been claiming it was murder. What do you know that the lawyers didn't?
MS worked diligently for years trying to help his wife recover. He did not immediately give up hope and go to the bed of another woman as you imply. Nor was her condition going anywhere but down.
"Alibi"? more unwarranted assumptions. He had no need for an alibi. NO ONE accused him of anything for almost ten years. Only after the Schindlers got into did the slander and accusations start.
Thank you. I am better just for your post!
We sure got to see the treason media up close at Pinellas Park, to witness events, to see the media there covering it, then to see the distortions appear afterwards. Some of the staff were downright nice and seeing exactly what was going on, but their stories never got outside the grounds.
Please call your congresscritter tonight (or maybe early tomorrow morning would not be too late), and ask them to vote for H.R. 6099, Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act.

:)
Most of what I saw in the media were supporters of the Schindlers. Or on the talk shows pro and con talking heads.
Yes please do that. It ain't going to happen. Nor was there anything arbitrary about stopping an investigation which would led to nothing.

(Fox News tagged us insurgents as per the current administration).
And, minutemen are vigilantes.
Point two doesn't follow from point one. The police didn't do any interviews, forensic tests, medical follow-ups, so how could they KNOW nothing was done to hurt Terri? They didn't begin to eliminate the possibilities. And how can you possibly adjudge that they'd had looked hard enough? You didn't eliminate the possibilites either. You have no factual basis for saying that.
There IS medical evidence that Terri was injured by violence. Both of the abnormal blood tests point to violence, and the bone scan stated plainly that this patient suffered trauma. A Freeper doc I consulted several years ago looked at the bone scan report. "Somebody beat the crap out of her," he said. (It could have been a bad auto wreck, except she wasn't in an auto wreck.)
Somebody hurt her. Somebody hurt her badly. That's radiography, not opinion.
Well, yeah, guess I am, but I am trying to quit...
