Theresa Marie Schindler was born to Robert and Mary Schindler on December 3, 1963. She was the first of three children the Schindlers would have.
Terri was a shy, but comical, child who had an affinity for music, animals and the arts. She kept a small circle of friends and was dear to schoolmates, neighboring families and her own extended family.
Following high school, Terri came into her own. She developed a knack for sketching and doodling. She enjoyed outings with her friends. She was an adoptive mother to the familys dog, Bucky.
Terri attended Catholic School while growing up and remained close to her faith throughout her life.
In 1983, Terri met Michael Schiavo at Bucks County Community College and the two began dating. He was the first romantic interest Terri had.
The couple was engaged within a few months and married a year later at Terris church in Southampton, Pa. She was 21.
In 1986, Terri and Michael relocated to Pinellas County, Florida and her parents followed three months later.
In 1990, at the age of 26, Terri suffered a mysterious cardio-respiratory arrest for which no cause has ever been determined. She was diagnosed with hypoxic encephalopathy neurological injury caused by lack of oxygen to the brain. Terri was placed on a ventilator, but was soon able to breathe on her own and maintain vital function. She remained in a severely compromised neurological state and was provided a PEG tube to ensure the safe delivery of nourishment and hydration.
On March 31, 2005, Terri Schindler Schiavo died of marked dehydration following more than 13 days without nutrition or hydration under the order of Circuit Court Judge, George W. Greer of the Pinellas-Pascos Sixth Judicial Court. Terri was 41.
Proud conservative? Are American voters really dumb
enough to fall for this trick again?
Now there's a reliable poll for you. /sarcasm.
We can choose between "Thank you for murdering Terri. That sure was fun. Too bad it's over." or "Thank you for murdering Terri. Don't stop now. There are plenty more to be murdered."
Oh, baby, baby. Wow. Got a cigarette?
Except that he hides behind a left wing publication that practices total censorship. At least the visitors on FreeRepublic have the nerve to post here. Michael does not.
He is welcome to join at anytime. But I suspect he would like to avoid that activity much like he did to Mark Fuhrman who wanted to ask him a few questions.
Most murderers are cowards.
Michael is the biggest coward of all. He hid behind his lawyers to kill his disabled wife and now he he hides out in a left wing publication that practices total censorship. I wonder how far he thinks he can run?
He can run as far as he wants, Hell still awaits him.
More than welcome. He's the only one who can really answer my question in #1814.
For the sake of his wife, his two children and his tattered, dying soul, Michael had better come clean in this life, and put himself right with God, and do it soon. It's just like leaving a Living Will for eternity. If you don't give God your power of attorney, somebody else will decide your fate.
Also, he is such a poor liar that over and over again he has trapped himself.
I agree. What he is doing is not normal.
Yes, in court testimony, he never told the same story twice.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am still waiting for Michael Schiavo to make a correction on his blog about what "actually" took place in Colorado when he went there (to the debate) to supposedly ask Congresswoman Musgrave one question and she and her staff supposedly tried to have him removed. He called it, "My unreal night in Colorado - with radio link" (Thu Oct 26, 2006 at 08:05:14 PM PST). I'll say (from what I read) that it was his "unreal night".
As I said before in "Standing up and Admitting a Mistake: Not Schiavo's Style?", if four uniformed officers were around my seat, I would have some idea of what was going on. I certainly wouldn't be sitting in "duh mode" to only be told later of what took place right there around me, as Michael suggests he was. If Michael's account is realistic -- his response and reaction is not. Nor is his response appropriate now that he has "learned" what he was "allegedly told" is not what took place. One would think if he can't get the words out that he was mistaken, he could at least have removed the inaccurate entry from his blog.
He has done neither.

St. Petersburg, FL (LifeNews.com) -- Terri Schiavo's father, Robert Schindler, has returned home from the hospital following two strokes he suffered shortly before Christmas. Schiavo is the disabled woman who became the center of a massive legal battle when her former husband won a legal battle to kill her via euthanasia.
Schindler entered the hospital about a week before Christmas after a minor stroke and appeared to be recovering but suffered a second stroke days later.
Bobby Schindler, Terri's brother, told LifeNews.com that Schindler went home last Tuesday and is doing well.
"In fact, he even came into the foundation office for a few hours today to do some work," Schindler said, referring to the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation the family runs in order to help disabled and incapacitated patients like Terri.

As the mainstream media editorialize outgoing Florida Governor Jeb Bush, I cant help but compare their opposition to the 34-minute execution of convicted killer Angel Diaz with their support of the 14-day execution of my sister, Terri Schiavo....
Orlando Sentinel, 12-28-06
[Governor Jeb Bush's] intervention in the Terri Schiavo fiasco, without even talking to her husband, was unconscionable.

Governor Jeb Bush was wise to suspend executions and order the review of lethal injection procedures after the bungled execution of a convicted murderer last week.
Miami Herald, 1-8-07
It will be difficult for the public to forget [Bush's] disgraceful performance in the Terri Schiavo case, just one of a number of legal battles in which the ACLU engaged his administration because of his posture that public policy "should err on the side of life.''

Remember Jack Kevorkian? He's the American euthanasia doctor behind bars for second-degree murder. He's also the one who wanted to look into the eyes of those in the process of dying for his "obitiatric research".
Despite his ghoulishness, Kevorkian is revered by those such as Derek Humphry, co-founder of the pro-euthanasia group the Hemlock Society, who described Kevorkian's incarceration as "a tragedy for an honourable man". Kevorkian assisted or lethally injected at least 130 people, mostly middle-aged women. More than 70 per cent were not terminally ill. Most were disabled or depressed.
Once the killing starts, there's no stopping it (euthanasia)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that murderers lost their citizenship rights?
I never noticed Mikey being concerned with Terri's rights as a citizen. If a subhuman societal cancer like Mikey decided that he wasn't going to allow his dog or cat to have food and water, the pet would be taken from him, cared for and he would be charged with a crime.
And I always thought that a Congressional subpoena could be enforced whether a state judge agreed with it or not.
