Weiner, on the other hand, did everything he could to make sure the libs' ideas of conservatives were"proven." And he still does, day by dreadful-train-wreckage day.
Interesting comparison.
First: I don't care what libs think, and I KNOW that both Rush and Mike feel the same.
So your saying Rush's comments didn't "confirm" what libs think of , and caricature him, as?
I think your being a little unfair in this example.
As for Mike's comments: they were out of line, but he wasn't made for TV anywasy.
Rush's comments, which were valid, simply expressed what many throughout the NFL have always thought, but were (and still are) afraid to express, due to fear of running afoul of the PC police: Donovan McNabb is overrated. Ask throughout the NFL...hell, just watch his playoff record, and you will see what Rush meant.
Weiner flying off the handle and telling a guest on his TV show to "go to hell" and calling him a Sodomite is MANY times worse.
If you think Rush and Weiner are on the same standing, you're beyond help. Even Weiner recognizes (though he refuses to admit,) that he is chasing unsuccessfully after Rush, which explains his name-calling.
Ukraine: Come for the prostitutes. Stay for post-cold war communist atmosphere!
The caller deserved it and besides, the network had the capability to censor Mike the same way they censored the caller.
"As for Mike's comments: they were out of line, but he wasn't made for TV anywasy"
Yep.
And he sucks on radio, too.
