Breaking News Mario Scaramella Radiation Hits Second Man Updated: 14:53, Friday December 01, 2006 A contact of an ex-Russian spy who died after ingesting a radioactive toxin has the same substance in his body, Sky News has learnt. Italian academic Mario Scaramella tested positive for isotope Polonium-210. He had met Russian defector Alexander Litvinenko at a sushi restaurant in London, shortly before he fell ill. Sky's Martin Brunt said Mr Scaramella had not shown the same symptoms as Mr Litvinenko, who suffered vomiting and loss of hair before he died.

Did they ever test the first man's wife? I wonder if you can get this thru physical contact?

Wonder if Chelation therapy would work on this?

I'm wondering if this is a test, only a test, to see how well it works before Russia sells this stuff to the terrorists.

It has a very similar pattern to the Anthrax "test".
I'm considering a "crop duster" scenario but I don't know if it can be distributed in this manner.
My gut says Iranian connection...via old Russia loyalists...not Putin initiated.

I don't think Chelation can work here. The microscopic speck does not even have to enter the bloodstream, the emitted alpha particles are(relatively)huge, and just rip you up from the inside out.
Here is some info...
210Po Polonium-210 is an alpha emitter that has a half-life of 138.376 days. A milligram of 210Po emits as many alpha particles as 5 grams of radium.
A great deal of energy is released by its decay with half a gram quickly reaching a temperature above 750 K. A few curies (1 curie equals 37 gigabecquerels) of 210Po emit a blue glow which is caused by excitation of surrounding air.
A single gram of 210Po generates 140 watts of power.[9] Because it emits many alpha particles, which are stopped within a very short distance in dense media and release their energy

I wonder if you can get this thru physical contact? - yes. say,it was applied as an aqueous spray from a small sprayer bottle. Some of it got on food, the rest got on the tables, clothes etc. Now, as a graphic illustration - say, it was not aqueous droplets but graphite dust. Quite a few things would get smeared, and the graphite streaks in decreasing intensity would indeed travel rather far, with the movement of people and things involved. Why, if my hand is dusted with graphite, so will be yours if you shake mine.

A crop duster would need so much of this stuff that it would be visibly glowing.

A scientist described it in a vial. Apparently, it creeps so using graphite is a good analogy.

Why did the dead ex-Russian spy have such a lethal dose of this in HIS system, under your possible scenario?

I was suggesting "crop dusting" (or similar) as a "future" possibility. The California Spinach incident provoked the thought along with Atta inquiring about a crop duster.
I'd check to see if there were any new cooks in the kitchen at the Sushi bar!! How many can they have??

Former spy's wife positive for radiation
AP -
LONDON - An Italian security expert who met with former KGB agent Alexander Litvinenko the day he fell fatally ill has also tested positive for the same radioactive substance found in his body, British authorities said Friday. Litvinenko's wife tested positive as well, a friend said.
