Chuck swung by the Daily News for an editorial board meeting this morning, which you'll be able to read more about in tomorrow's News.
A couple of tidbits from his broader discussion (forthcoming in book form) of how he sees the shifting terrain and the Democrats' edge struck me:
"We're in better shape than [Republicans] are, because they don't realize that Reaganomics is dead, that the Reagan philosophy is dead," he said. "We realize that New Deal democracy, which is still our paradigm, which is sort of appeal to each group ... that doesn't work any more."
He had said a bit earlier, "The old Reagan theory which dominated -- which is, 'Government is bad, it's out of touch, chop off its hands as soon as it moves.' -- is over."
Not sure the conservative love affair with Chuck is going to last
Was that the guy with one leg?? :)
Paul Harvey was taken off the air for a brief time after CAIR protested something he said. Now he's as anti-American as Michael Moore.
Harvey needs to retire and rest.
Should have called it the "RINO Incumbent Protection Act". Anything with McLame's name should be tossed out.
Yup. I still waste meat, but each year I'm getting better with the knife. $40 a pop to have it processed is a waste in my situation.
Paul Harvey was pro-death fifteen years ago.
Rush is on a roll
So if Muslims can follow Sharia law,
I say Christians can follow OT law.
Stoning comes to mind.
Should be called the McLoon Act.
Better than a bicuit!
LOL Yeah
I don't know what the hell is going on with these people. I think they've lost their minds...or are just jockeying for position in "the game."
I used to have respect for the man, but no more.
Back stabber.
It's a shame McLame became an enemy of the Constitution he once swore to uphold and defend with his life.
Darwin Award winner?
I like it.

When Democrats take control of Congress in January, Rep. Barney Frank will set the agenda on policies that affect public companies. He's pushing for extraordinary reforms and supersized shareholder power -- including say over executive pay.
Here comes the socialists.
"......when it rains, it freezes over night, then rains the next day, and freezes. It creates a few inches, but is solid ice."
....and then, the genius in charge of snow removal sends out trucks loaded with salt, which usually winds up half inch deep in places and, since it actually only "melts" ice by depressing the freezing point, winds up creating an even worse mess on the streets whilst merrily dissolving your car.
Spent half a lifetime one year in Virginia. Couldn't get me back there at gunpoint.
Fred THompson needs to run for president in 2008!
