A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos): 11-29-06

After wrapping up the NATO summit in Riga, Latvia, President Bush traveled to Amman, Jordan for a two day conference to discuss the sectarian violence in Iraq.

A scheduled meeting there with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki was postponed until tomorrow after yet another internal White House memo was leaked to (and published by) the New York Times. The memo reportedly questions al-Maliki’s ability to control the violence in his country.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice traveled from the NATO summit to the West Bank city of Ramallah for talks to help preserve the cease fire between Israelis and Palestinians.

Enjoy your day visit to Sanity Island

Life is SO good without Fox News or Rush Limbaugh, isn't it? :)

Same here.

GOOD! I will guess that the news remains ugly and I am quite happy to boycott all except the Dose.

Hello :) Did you happen to see Chris Daughtry this morning on the CBS morning show? He performed two songs with his band--just awesome.

Most people I know in Britain who have been to Disney seem to go to Orlando I suppose that is because it is the nearest apart from Paris.

Which Disney do you prefer?

YES! No news has been wonderful! Seriously wonderful. I think if the Buddhists are right and we come back as something else, I will ask to be an ostrich. I am quite happy with my head in the sand.

I do not watch any of the network news and have not listened to Rush in weeks. Have more important things to do.

Yes, you're right --- Orlando is much closer for European visitors. I like both --- maybe partial to Disneyland in Anaheim because Orlando's weather is humid.

That's it. I have worked hard to reach that number and I am going to let y'all have it for the next few months!

A "few months"?

I'm skeptical Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I froze the leftover turkey to make a turkey pot pie later. Anyone have any suggestions? Please, no turnip, LOL! What I really need to know is how to make a good, tasty turkey gravy for it.

I'll type the recipe at my first opportunity. I think it's easy and both pies turned out really good.

I have only found one movie to rent from Netflix and I have to find 6 more "right now" according to the order from my husband.

Kids will have the computer in 15 minuteS and I am taking my daughter down to the river boats (casinos) for a couple of hours. We've been twice and she's won both times --- guess her money is burning a hole in her pocket.

I found this movie:

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Inspired by a true story, this heartwarming tale unfolds on Christmas Eve, 1914, in the midst of World War I. As the French, Scottish and German soldiers prepare to open their presents, a momentous event occurs that changes the destinies of four people: an Anglican priest, a French lieutenant, a world-class tenor and his soprano lover. Diane Kruger, Benno Furmann, Guillaume Canet, Gary Lewis, Dany Boon and Daniel Bruhl star.
