After wrapping up the NATO summit in Riga, Latvia, President Bush traveled to Amman, Jordan for a two day conference to discuss the sectarian violence in Iraq.

A scheduled meeting there with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki was postponed until tomorrow after yet another internal White House memo was leaked to (and published by) the New York Times. The memo reportedly questions al-Maliki’s ability to control the violence in his country.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice traveled from the NATO summit to the West Bank city of Ramallah for talks to help preserve the cease fire between Israelis and Palestinians.

Enjoy your day visit to Sanity Island

That's it. I have worked hard to reach that number and I am going to let y'all have it for the next few months! But, beware, I may be back one of these days. You will never know when. LOL.

LOL --- well, actually, I really DO want to know what you baked. I made 2 Key Lime pies and I think my daughter and I ate one of them all by ourselves. I have gained some serious weight --- I'm sure of that much --- but I will eat vegetables and fish only beginning on Monday, so I will likely be awfully cranky. :)

Just dandy, and you? I still have my daughter and her children here until Sunday evening --- they were able to stay an extra week! Went to Orlando (Disneyworld) for 3 days. WOW, is that expensive.
