The Rush Limbaugh Show ^ | 29 November 2006 | TxRadioguy

ree stories today, my good friends, on happiness -- which, as I say, stuns me, given the fact that I thought everybody was delirious after the elections. I haven't heard of any Post-Election Stress Trauma, such as after the '04 election a bunch of south Floridians needed to go get counseling over the fact that Bush won. They needed counseling after the Bush election victory. I haven't heard of anything marginally like that at all, yet apparently there is a lot of misery, and so all the stories on happiness are out. The three headlines are: "Researchers Seek Routes to Happier Life;" another headline is: "Study: Money, Happiness Link is Complex," and then there's: "The Secret to Success -- A hit Internet movie claims to reveal centuries-old secrets to getting what you want in life."

It seems to me after EVERY election they try to proclaim that the "Era of Reagan" is dead.
But they never seem to be actually able to bury that "era" now can they?

Not the way I see it...

Anything and everything gets a pass when you're bashing a Conservative/Republican or this President.

"We're in better shape than [Republicans] are, because they don't realize that Reaganomics is dead, that the Reagan philosophy is dead

What an a-hole! I totally dread having to see his sneer in front of every available camera for the next two years. What depresses me more is a survey Neal Boortz read on his radio show last week that the self-described conservatives are less than 9% of the population while self-described liberals are 15% and 32% are libertarian. That means 45% are what? and we are dependent on them?

Maybe the good Folk from MN are more like those characters in Fargo than we thought?

Well, the Dems are, certainly! I have a couple of friends from MN who say "Fargo" is a very accurate portrayal of many Minnesotans (FReepers excepted, of course).

Why not, they are taking over in every country around the world -- with the possible exception of Australia who has the wherewithall to tell them to live as Australians or leave.

Lesson #1...ignore the polls like that where the outcome is guaranteed before the people are ever questioned.

Not Minnesota try Minneapolis. The American HQ for the Socialist party. His district covers most of Minneapolis.

Where could Rush be?

My theory is that he is meeting with some "money" people to start a tv new network to counter all the mis-info that is out there on a daily basis. ???

It's disgusting. I can understand Rosie O'Donnell pushing this crud, but Barbara Walters???? of course, I have yet to understand why Barbara put Rosie on her show.

There is a good movie on the Nativity starting this Friday, I suggest we all turn out enmass to watch it and make it the top movie of the weekend/year.

"Every part of the Lincoln bedroom was "utilized""....

There were stories going around that Pres. Bush had the Oval Office subjected to a very complete carpet cleaning when he got into office. I hope the cleansing treatment included the Lincoln bedroom.

That's true for me--It will kill the show off that much sooner.

If anyone but Boortz (or Rush or Sean) had been talking about this I would have ignored it.. of course, Boortz was thrilled because so many in the survey were libertarian like him.
