Stopping first in Estonia, the president then traveled to Riga, Latvia for the NATO summit today and tomorrow.
Secretary of State Rice and National Security Advisor Hadley are with him.
Bush plans to travel to Jordan later in the week for a summit with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. Maliki fired 3,000 government employees for militia ties. This is an effort to deal with political leaders to disarm the militias. Coalition officials are supporting that effort.
