The Kurds seem to be holding up well from what appears to be decades of attacks from all sides.
PKK is Marxist. They are currently carrying out attacks in Turkey and had an ongoing war several years ago with other Kurdish groups. They are a threat to any Kurdish hopes of future progress and need to be eliminated.
I have tremendous respect for the Kurds.
1. They aren't 'Arabs' at all.
2. They hate the Sunnis and Shiites more than we do.
3. They are legendary warriors; utterly fearless.
4. The Iraqi police forces are heavily Kurdish....and they kick ass (my son's over there with the US Army and works with them on an almost daily basis.....he swears by them)
More women with guns...
I don't pray often,
But I pray that the Kurds can last,
and that we do not leave them on their own.
(Been there, done that, sucks.)
