He doesn't quite know what he believes.
Sure does!
Many children of liberal or secular Jews convert to eastern religions, TM, Hare Krishna, and the like. And, not infrequently, these conversions are themselves waystations to an eventual conversion to a doctrinely-sound form of Judaism, Christianity or both (i.e., Messianic Judaism). This conversion (to Islam) is even stranger, but may reflect that his parents were themselves into New Age hippie-ism, so the young person took up with a particularly conservative and regressive sect (Whahabi'ism). Fortunately, he saw the error in that, and moved on. There is an old saying, It is not that the Jews have kept the Law, but that the Law has kept the Jews. Similarly, Jesus says, You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you. Thus, even though his parents may have been / still be whacky, the man had enough of the truth to finally get his bearings straight
Well until he converts to Buddhism then Hinduism.
Thank you for the recommendation.
Sirhan Sirhan changed religion or belief half a dozen times. It's anybody's guess what he was in the hotel ballroom.
sounds more like a confused transexual metro sexual to me
I think you are probably readng your Bible correctly. I was reading in the prophets some time ago, Hosea I think, and the Jewish people didn't think God would punish them through--I think--the Assyrians because they were a Godless people. Well, guess again. He did. God uses whatever instrument He choses to disclipine the people He loves. I take that to mean that on this earth, we certainly could be defeated by the Muslims even though the US started out, I believe, as a nation favored by God. He will not be mocked and we're doing a good job of it as a country.
From Judaism to islam to Christianity - this guy's all over the map! Sounds like he got no direction at home growing up.....
Sounds like he went for the Hat Trick.
(It's Good to See you, Dear Sister Sara! Thank you for the Ping!)
I guess all the spilled blood flows freely enough...
