Jesse Jackson Wants a Seinfeld Boycott for Kramer Tirade --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By Jim Roberts Nov 28, 2006
That didn't take long. Jesse Jackson is now heavily involved in the racist rant put forth by Michael Richards aka 'Kramer' from the popular '90's hit television sitcom Seinfeld. Richards went on Jesse Jackson's nationally syndicated radio program, "Keep Hope Alive," as a part of a series of apologies for the incident over the weekend.

Jackson, has called Richards' words "hateful," "sick," and "deep-seated, and for once in his life jess Jackson is right.
***
Of course that didn't last long as Jackson then called for a boycott of the Seinfeld DVD set that went on sale last week to protest Richards' racial tirade at a comedy club in Los Angeles last week.
Yes - that will really solve something.
***
Richards, who played Jerry Seinfeld's wacky neighbor Kramer on the TV sitcom "Seinfeld," was performing at West Hollywood's Laugh Factory last week when he lashed out at hecklers with a string of racial obscenities and profane language. A cell phone video camera captured the outburst, and the incident later appeared on TMZ.com.
Richards told Jackson the tirade was fueled by anger, not bigotry. He said he wanted to hurt those who had hurt him.
"I was in a place of humiliation," he said.

Hard to say what should happen to Richards. He has really no career and has been unable to sustain the Seinfeld momentum. But moving to Jesse Jackson for healing was a huge error as Jackson will want to make it about the person he cares most about.
Jesse Jackson.
Jesse's cable access show equivalent should be titled "Keep Hype Alive".
-----------------------------------------------
Season seven was released last week on DVD. That is why Seinfeld had Richards on Letterman via satellite, an effort to stop the bleeding.
Guess Kramer's check didn't clear.
Didn't watch it then - won't now, no change of my habit's due on account of Richards or Jackson....
Neither is worth any expense against the other.
I think I know where you were going with this.
What Richards said was disgusting, but Jesse Jackson does the same kind of thing and no one calls him on it. Jesse is just being a hypocrite.
Jackson epitomizes everything white racists seem to fear.

That's right Jerry. Reverent Jackson and I are finally going to make you pay!
Correction to above. It is the season 7 DVD that's being released.
And folks, those DVDs generally sell well. Very little production costs, dvds only cost pennies, and the shows have already been produced. The only costs are advertising. DVD sales can generate $ billions in revenue.
Guess what I'm adding to my Christmas list.
What's more oddball; watching and not liking or never watching (like me)?
It would make a lot more sense to hit Michael Richards' current career by boycotting ... oh, never mind.
Jesse HIJACKson reminds me of some Bob Seger lyrics:
"Shakedown, breakdown, takedown
Everybody wants into the crowded light
Breakdown, takedown, your busted
Shakedown, beakdown, honey
Just about the time you think that it's alright
Breakdown, takedown, your busted"
You might try the "N" word. In Jesse's case it seems to fit quite well.
Jerry Curl
Wasn't there a DISCO tune some time ago that went something like;
"Gotta make a move to a
town that's right for me
Town to keep me movin'
Keep me groovin' with some
energy.
Well, I talk about it,
Talk about it,
Talk about it,
Talk about it,
Talk about, Talk about,
Talk about movin,
Gotta move on.
Gotta move on.
Gotta move on.
Won't you take me to....Hymietown,
Won't you take me to....Hymietown!"
