The funny thing about the .303 is that it was my first gun. My uncle knew I was looking for one, but I was looking for something more along the lines of a .22 rifle (which I did buy recently). All of a sudden, out of nowhere, he's showing me all his guns and just hands me this old British Army Rifle and says "Here! You can have it if you want!"
How does your uncle feel about adopting a nephew? ;-D
Well, I'll let him know you're interested.
Actually, he had a pretty good reason for letting the gun go. It being a high-powered rifle, he has a little trouble with his shoulder. He had to have it operated on about 10 years ago so it makes shooting a little more troublesome for him (though that doesn't stop him).
Although he does have a Marlin 30-30 that he won't let go for anything in the world.
