Sounds like the girls are as stubborn and courageous as their old man and grandma.
Which hotel was that again?
And was there additional violence? No. Connect the dots.
Sounds like the media wants the girls to 'cut and run'.
Why would the State Department get involved? This is a White House matter, or at the very least, a Treasury Department matter since they provide security.
Ugly Americans.
The Twins aint skeerd. I'm proud of'em. ;o)
Uh, that's why they call them the "Secret" Service. Surely the agents were in the general vicinity.
Who hasn't?
This is just pink gossip. Must really twist the ABC twits' panties that these two are both beautiful and courageous.
Now, if they were related to Brangelina, think of how adoring the coverage would be.
Simply nasty nasty people these reporters at ABC are.
"U.S. embassy officials "strongly suggested" President Bush's twin daughters, Jenna and Barbara Bush, cut short their trip to Buenos Aires because of security issues"
Wonder if I am the only freeper to get kicked out of a town?
It only took a few hours before the local sheriff instructed us it was time to hit the road.
Not retreating seems to be a Bush genetic trait. :p
**Officials say the media coverage upstaged publicity plans for the new U.S. Ambassador Anthony Wayne, who had only recently arrived in the country**
Seriously? Who would've paid attention the new ambassador even without the twins there? My guess is no one. The twins are going to be reported on wherever they go, that doesn't mean they should go into hiding.
"No Secret Service agents were anywhere to be seen in the lobby, according to ABC News' Joe Goldman."
Well hopefully that just means the agents did a great job of staying close but unseen.
If it means that the young ladies were left unprotected then heads need to roll soon.
Certainly these girls would be considered targets by the enemies of our country; I assume our SS agents are extremely bright and are doing their jobs properly.
State Department Suggests Bush's Cut And Run"
Jenna and Barbara Decline.
In British publications I read about Chelsea Clinton getting quite drunk at pubs in London, passing out, making a fool of herself, walking out on huge amounts she ran up with her friends without paying, etc. No one in the media here covered it. She remained as always "off limits" even after her father had left public office. Quite a double standard here, as seen also with the lack of reporting on Al Gore's son and his many exploits. The daughters of George and Jeb Bush get full negative coverage and most of it is very exaggerated stuff about ordinary actions of young adults.
"One tabloid headline had the young women running nude in the hallway of their hotel"
Such reports are useless without pictures.
