Well hopefully that just means the agents did a great job of staying close but unseen.
If it means that the young ladies were left unprotected then heads need to roll soon.
Certainly these girls would be considered targets by the enemies of our country; I assume our SS agents are extremely bright and are doing their jobs properly.
