I was pleased when, riding home from "Happy Feet," my 10-year-old said, "Maybe they want to try to convince people to place a fishing restriction around Antarctica." Perhaps the many times I have said, "If someone one is writing something, then they have a message they are trying to give you. Figure it out so that you won't be manipulated" is having effect.

Other than that, it was a pretty fun movie. Do you ever wonder why a studio doesn't produce an entire computer animated movie with Robin Williams providing all the voices? I don't know that he would be as good as Mel Blanc, but I think Robin Williams would be willing to give it a shot.

My wife came back from it yesterday with a puzzled look and asked what the folks over at FR thought. She had said it was liberal trash and after her searching through some reviews, she though it a piece of pro-gay (along with the anti-fishing) propaganda.
