Stopping Hillary Before She Starts
She hasn't said she's running yet, but that's not stopping Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's foes from trying to keep her out of the White House with a new website, www.stophernow.com. Launched this week, the site features the animated Hillary Show, with new episodes planned for when Clinton makes news. The show's first cartoon guests: Sen. John Kerry, whom the animated Clinton calls "loser," and a screaming Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean. "We knew people were tired of the mean television ads you find in every campaign," says Dick Collins, the Dallas-based moneyman who ponied up most of the $250,000 that the site launch required. "So we wanted to have some fun." But Collins says it could turn nasty as '08 nears: "You never know where you end up."

Rudy had a great chance to stop her for good, and he didn't even try.
If he wanted to do his party, his state and his country a GREAT SERVICE--he should have ran against her in the state that knows him best, and loves him, and in more in-tune with his liberal leanings.
He could have removed her from the senate--and THEN run in two years.
What a great service it would have been for EVERYONE!!! He could have removed her--and ensured that she wouldn't have even been nominated--as the Dem Party would have second thoughts, if she couldn't even beat him in NY!!
He would have also kept control of the Senate in Rep hands. Thanks, Rudy (rolling eyes)!
I bet he didn't run for two reasons: 1. Her liberal positions aren't all that different than his,,,and 2. He was afraid he would lose.

I think Rudy was fighting prostate cancer at the time. I suspect that would take up all a person time and energy.

Yes, she must be stopped early. If she wins primaries early, she will be able to save a huge warchest and we won't have her fellow Dems giving us soundbites against her.

That was six years ago. If it's a problem now, why would it not be a problem in 2 years. He has filed to run for Pres in 2 years.

I read your post again. Who are you to tell a man what to do with his political career. Did you happen to think maybe he did not want to run? It's his choice, his decision. Maybe he was tired. Maybe did not want to be a Senator. Why didn't you run?

Geeez, great post....(rolling eyes)
Of course, he has every right in the world to NOT run for the Senate--that's his choice.
But if he thinks he's going to get conservative support for a Presidential run in two--when he wouldn't even take her on now,,,he's dreaming.
P.S. Because I didn't file to run for Pres in two years like he did--and then look for conservative support, ok?..lol.
