There may not be a good argument to that.

But remember that there is a larger argument: If we cut and run and leave everyone who worked with us to be murdered, it will be the end of the US as a world power.

No nation will align with us in the future because we run and leave our allies to die.

As this war against Islam's attempt to take over the world progresses, many nations and millions of people are going to be forced to choose up sides. Whether the greedy "girlie" French, the reluctant Germans or whomever, they will be forced to take sides.

They are not going to side with a country that runs and leaves them to die.

If we could not win, it is smart to run. But it is a unforgivable sin to have the ability to win and run anyway.

Well, I think it is horribly sad that so many innocent people are dying there. If not but for the grace of God, I could be trying to raise my family in a place like that. They are good people caught in a war that is tearing their country apart, and that threatens their life and security every day.

But even if I didn't feel that way, I happen to believe that our soldiers are more valuable than that. They have sacrificed their lives, some 2800+. Over 10,000 have been injured. They are there because they believe that the lives of the Iraqi people have value and are worth fighting for. Otherwise, we would have just bombed the entire country. Our soldiers deserve our respect. We respect them by recognizing that their cause is worth fighting for.

Because the surrounding countries will invade and divide the country. You don't think that the Turks would like to have Mosul etc. ? Iraq has probably the largest oil reserves in the world.

Good point. Some of this killing is vigilantism which is a good thing in that world. The problem with these people is that they enjoy killing Christians and Jews more than themselves.
