THE 'EURABIA' MYTH
New York Post ^ | November 26, 2006 | Ralph Peters

A RASH of pop prophets tell us that Muslims in Europe are reproducing so fast and European societies are so weak and listless that, before you know it, the continent will become "Eurabia," with all those topless gals on the Riviera wearing veils.

Well, maybe not.

The notion that continental Europeans, who are world-champion haters, will let the impoverished Muslim immigrants they confine to ghettos take over their societies and extend the caliphate from the Amalfi Coast to Amsterdam has it exactly wrong...

My perception in Europe is that muslims don't understand the demons they are awakening...

Based on what exactly?

So, they are not really similar to Nazis because they are yet to win on the battle field!?

Well, they soon will be similar on your terms, too, if nothing changed.

I passed through De Gaulle airport this past summer.

I was truly unprepared for the number of hijabs I saw.

Particularly worn by airport employees.

Well, false about French birth rates...

The best statistical studies on French muslims show that they are at most 3-4 millions (http://www.lexpress.fr/info/societe/dossier/mosquees/dossier.asp?ida=415633)...

"To understand present day demographics in Europe (and France in particular) you must look at both age distribution, and the age when births occur."

From the Brookings Institution:
http://www.brookings.edu/views/testimony/fellows/vaisse20060112.htm

Although French Muslims of African or Turkish origin are typically younger than the rest of the French population, fertility rates among immigrant women tend to conform with the French norm after their arrival. The gap in fertility rates between immigrant women and French women is 0.46. While Europe on the whole is experiencing declining birth rates, there are two demographic exceptions: France and Ireland. In France, the fertility rate is 1.94 children born per woman (2005.) (In comparison, the U.S. fertility rate is 2.08 children born per woman.) Without immigrant women, this figure would drop by 0.05 children born per woman. In other words, one can hardly speak of a "demographic time bomb," "colonization in reverse," or the "Islamicization of France."

Again you have no clue about French demographics and you all your numbers are false...

There are no official numbers on muslims in France, because collecting such data is against the law. The best statisticians have found that the number 5 millions is exagerated... Moreover looking at the names of babies, ity isn't true that so many French birth are to muslims...

Based on what you hear in Europe today from the people and even the governments... Based on laws that forbid family reunification to mainly muslims (see Denmark and Holland)...

You are quite right... Actually French demographics are much better than Italy's or Spain's (I am not sure about Portugal)...

'I am American...I look at the fact that I was born in Europe strictly from a geographic point of view and not nationality or loyalty. Hence my "PS"...'

You miss my point, I merely intoned that being born in Europe is an unusual thing to say. Most people mention the country, rather than the continent!

"In September 2005, the Institut français des relations internationales (French Institute for International Relations, IFRI) published a report stating that 10 to 20% of the army is of immigrant origin, most of them North African. “Their loyalty is continuously questioned,” Christophe Bertossi of IFRI said."

'My point is that an army of National Front types still exists in most countries in Europe and need only political sanction to start making life for the muzzies very uncomfortable... or that the police turn a blind eye.'

Yep, you call them national front types in europe and rednecks in America.

Do you ever get the feeling he is paid very well by somebody for these opinions which fly in face of common sense and events we see happening before our eyes? I wonder.
