SKOWHEGAN -- The explosion of two homemade bombs inside Wal-Mart Saturday afternoon sent a store full of holiday shoppers scurrying for the exits. Two acid bombs detonated in two separate aisles as the store was crowded with shoppers around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, said Sgt. Joel Davis, fire investigation supervisor for the State Fire Marshal's Office. One of the bombs detonated in the pet area. The second was in the store's toy section, Davis said. Early reports indicate that three or four people suffered minor injuries, mostly limited to ringing ears caused by the blasts, but last night investigators could still not rule out that someone may have suffered more serious injuries that had not yet been reported. WTF...
BTTT!
This was inevitable. The left has been bad-mouthing Wal*Mart so long it was just a matter of time before their bomb throwers sprang into action.
Last night?
Little ELFies at work?
FWIW, I can't find anything on the wires or in the Maine media. If it happened last night, there's no mention this morning.
Religion of peace?? Lot's of Muszzies in Lewiston, Maine.....
Maybe, instead of our local Kiwanis Golden K group going to Wal-Mart to ring the Christmas bell this past Friday, we should have gone to guard the perimeter.
Wonder what's with the rumor of bodies in the woods? That sounds illogical.
Will WalMart bombing = DEM fault?
Just looking for consistency here.
No injuries, but bodies?
Wow! will keep watch for updates.
No bombs this morning. Just halitosis. Bad halitosis.
My sons GF and Friend were turned away last night when they went shopping because a bomb had gone off. Per the State police. Walmart was closed throughout the night. Have not been by there this morning. Will update after church.
Maybe it was a disgruntled PS3 wannabe.
No one was seriously hurt Saturday when 2 small bombs went off at the Wal-Mart in Skowhegan.
Police say the 2 "acid bombs" went off in the aisles. The store was evacuated and a few people
were treated for ringing in their ears and some breathing problems.
Police have released surveillance video that shows a man who might have been responsible for detonating one of the bombs. Police are asking anyone with information to call state police at
(207) 624-7076.
