What the Left do NOT want Americans to appreciate is the fact that people who WANT to serve by volunteering to military service, are saying to themselves (and the world): "I believe that my attitude, talents and skills are valuable in the fight against our enemies. I believe that I should be part of this fight because I am good at what needs to be done."

Common reaction but I do feel amongst people who are interested in history and in particular world history are beginning to realise what we are facing.

IMHO this is nothing new but for a few hundred years us Christians have had the upper hand but the Muslim/Islam is on the move and our very traditions and lives are at risk.

MTP: Other than Duncan Hunter's idea of bringing in Iraqi troops to Baghdad from areas that are currently peaceful (not sure that is actually a good idea), the entire thing is a rehash of everything we've heard over and over...there is no military solution, we need to do this and we need to do that...no specifics about how we do this and that.
