Six Seattle-area Muslims gathered in prayer Friday in front of a US Airways ticket counter at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to protest the removal of six imams from a flight in Minneapolis earlier this week.
The prayer lasted eight minutes without incident.
"We are asserting the right of Muslims to be free of fear, free of apprehension, to take an equal seat at the table," said Jafar Siddiqui, a member of American Muslims of Puget Sound.
Afterward, airport patron Frank Meyers, of San Jose, Calif., accused airport terminal managers of being "politically correct" by allowing the prayer service to block a public elevator.
"We're in a war, sir," he told an airport terminal manager. "We're in a war against terrorism. Do you have any concept of that?"
The imams were removed from the flight to Phoenix on Monday night after three of them said their usual evening prayers in the terminal in Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport before boarding, said Omar Shahin, president of the North American Imams Federation, who was one of the passengers removed.
According to a police report, a US Airways manager said three of the men had one-way tickets and none checked baggage...
A national Muslim group has planned a much larger pray-in for Monday morning at Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.

"Go pray in a church". I don't want to see you praying anywhere in public. I don't want to see your asses pointed west five times a day, especially during lunch or dinner.
Freedom from religious prosecution means you can do what you will, out of my sight. My right to not be bothered by your prosyletizing, and other attempts to coerce others into your faith by popularizing it trumps your practices.
My government may not feel the same way, but sooner or later, things will get down to just you and me. I'll not tolerate rudeness on the part of you and your practioners, anymore than I'm certain you'd enjoy "Sweet Home, Alabama" being played on loudspeakers aimed at your mosque 24/7. While in America, do like Americans. And check that 'holier-than-thou' crap at the door.

Is there a place that has a listing of the evil Muslims in this country?
Names, pictures, addresses, phone numbers, etc?, and the connections they have with terrorism. We need some way of keeping track of them.
I think that a very public list of our enemies would go a long way on the war on terror. Anonymity is a terrorists best friend.

Just repeat: "Mohammad was a fraud and Allah is his scam" 5 times in succession. Then do it again.

On another thread, someone had a great idea. A group of Christians would circle them and join hands, while praying to God to forvive them, as they know what they are doing.
Seems like a great way to counteract them. Are the authorities going to stop the Christians from praying in public, while allowing the muzzie's to continue? I hope the hell not.
These people are Fifth Column terrorist supporters. They are attempting to create a situation in which law enforcement and aviation authorities are intimidated from taking reasonable and prudent measures to protect the traveling public from the Islamic savages who would murder us by the thousands. They must not succeed.

We have a morning talk radio host here in Phoenix on KFYI. Almost daily he insults Muslims and CAIR in particular. They have tried to get him fired but no luck so far. He deliberately taunts them and calls them what they are. I think the incident with the six imams was a setup. I hope US Air does not back down.

I think it was a deliberate setup. Even a moron knows you don't start chanting Islamic jibberish on a friggin airplane. Those imams are damn lucky the passengers didn't beat the crap out of them. Now waiting for Gloria Allred to file a lawsuit.

I'd have to say bravo! to your station manager .. the one here caved in no time. A lot of conservatives here still won't listen to that station, but pick up Rush/Sean thru Baltimore station
I've seen people say that the whole imam thing was a set up ... and that wouldn't surprise me ... but you have to ask why? Are they tone deaf? Most American's would be thrilled to find an airline no Muslims will fly on! So, sue! WHo cares? The personnel followed regs. USAir has been my most used airline for years and it sure isn't gonna change NOW.

I don't think I followed you. Who were you talking to, the Islamists or the Christians?

"Planning the incident could have been the main reason for the meeting"
When you learn the details that the kicked off imams insisted on not sitting together and that some had one way tickets, what else is the airline supposed to do?
This could be a pre-major attack psych opp, to dull our defenses and permit a new crop of hijackers to get our planes.

" President Bush, wake up. Please!"
Maybe Bush gets it, but can't be open about our plans to stop these maniacs?
I just read in the New Yorker that appointing Gates could be the first step in bombing Iran, since he has the clout to convince Congress that we are on the Verge of hundreds of thousands of Americans dying in an Iranian facilitated attack.

Islamists, of course. P.S., I wasn't talking, I was typing. Go back to College. [watch me reel this one in]
